Then 2 more go off for food once those are back. ![]() It might be complicated to implement but lets say you have two sail riggers currently off eating maybe the other 4 still there could maintain 2/3 efficiency of the sail use. It doesn't really seem to add anything to the game. It's realistic I am sure but quite boring just staring at your screen holding the shift key down while they all slowly go through the motions. I would ask that you just take a look at how this works and reduce the amount of time taken to eat or reduce the impact it has on ship activities. But whatever the logic behind this is the way you have combined all hands needing to be available or the action stops with this really drags everything out to a huge extent. It could be that one sailor just takes a lot longer to get to the food because he is a lot further away and it takes him longer to climb the mast etc. You cannot raise or lower a sail without the entire crew there and if each sail rigger staggers the time at which they take their turn in the rest it drags it out enormously.īasically your ship and every activity on it seems to stop for the entire duration of the rest and that the rest takes an enormous length of time because individuals take turns eating?. The way activities stop or become non responsive because they now lack one sailor is painful. I think I understand the rest feature - that it interrupts other activities as each sailor in turn takes their time off but with the way it is now it really drags the time taken to rest out. It starts fine so yeah I don't really see why it wont finish. I can only say that for the recipes that do not complete - as best I can see at the time I commence crafting them I have the required components. ![]() For the recipes not going forward we're working on QoL improvement that will make clearer why you can't craft - because there isn't enough materials for it.Ĭheers.
